Week 2

When your miniature photo is returned from the lab, it is checked and attached to a Stanhope lens.

OUR Delivery timeline

Every piece of Stanhope jewellery is custom made in our Cambridge workshop. Due to the special processes involved, your delivery will arrive 4 weeks from the date your order was placed. During that time, our maker Ollie will be in touch to provide progress updates. Here’s an overview of what to expect and when.

Week 1

Your photo is reviewed by Ollie before he creates a miniature version on photographic film. This is then sent to a specialist lab for processing.

Week 2

When the miniature photo has been returned from the lab it is checked and attached to a Stanhope lens.

UPDATE

Up to 14 days after you have placed your order you will receive an email from Ollie. It will include a short video showing how your photo looks when viewed through the Stanhope.

Week 3

The next stage is a slow but very necessary part of the process: the Stanhope is left to cure for up to 12 days before it can be mounted.

Week 4

When fully cured, the Stanhope is mounted inside your jewellery. It is then placed in its box and packaged up for delivery.

UPDATE

Ollie will email you a few days ahead of your jewellery being finished to give you a precise delivery date. He’ll also send a tracking number once your order is in the post.
